Interpreting the learning process.
Course
Online or in-person CPD courses are an increasingly
popular method of learning. The online courses can offer
convenience and affordability, in that there is no need to attend
with physical presence an event and course materials can be shared
online. The e-learning CPD courses offer flexibility for individuals to
participate at a suitable time and schedule around other work and
family commitments. The in-person CPD courses are conducting
with face-to-face instruction within a physical classroom and
training ground engaging the learner into a direct real-time
interaction promoting a more immediate pattern of learning.
Seminar
A seminar is a type of short course and usually with only a
few hours duration to one day. Our CPD seminars provide an
opportunity to focus on a particular subject in-depth. They are
usually conducted in a small group setting an interactive learning
environment including tasks and fostering discussion for major
topics or an advanced study in order to allow individuals gain
insights and contribute in a way that can lead to better retention of
knowledge.
Webinar
A webinar is an online learning activity held virtually and
attended by an online audience. Commonly, the principal objective
of a CPD webinar is to educate and inform professionals in a short
and concise manner about new and relevant information on a
specific subject. The e-learning CPD webinars can provide the
opportunity to interact and participate in a discussion-based
environment, conduct surveys, and share learning material
between attendees. This is a flexible manner to attend on any time
and place, as well as review the learning content at their
convenience.
Workshop
A workshop is an interactive educational group session
typically involving between 1 to 3 days of study. This is a hands-on
learning experience that encourages active participation from the
learners engaging round-table discussions, ask questions and
present their ideas about a particular subject rather than passive
listening.
Event
An event or a collection of learning events, is considered as a
number of different learning forms that can be reflected on a
learning source. An educational event follows a learning model
concretely planned on theoretical and practical sessions. The form
of CPD events includes conferences, congresses, conventions,
seminars, courses, trainings as mostly large educational events,
usually held at venues, beginning with a keynote session and then
offering breakout learning focusing on relevant topics. For instance,
there could be a live speaker session delivered in the format of a
guest presentation or a panel discussion.
Training
A training is a process that focus on the personal development
on a specific field including any activity that helps individuals acquire
new, or enhance existing, knowledge, skills and competencies. The
training programmes pursue to increase the workforce effectiveness in
specific tasks associated to the attendee’s role within the industry.
There are various types of trainings and development areas related with
high performing sports entities and many advancements to boost
performance on their workplace with the most common areas
including: soft skills training, hard skills training, sport-specific training,
management development, customer service training, experiential
learning, compliance training, volunteer training with various
formations such as; mentoring, coaching, self-directed learning, virtual
led learning, blended learning, simulation learning among other areas.
The Continued Professional Development (CPD) encourages individuals
and sports entities to upskill and raise their standards towards a
particular job role, specialism or quality level as an entity. CPD education
is based on a holistic approach allowing the participants to enhance their
personal skills and proficiency incorporating up-to-date insights engaging
them in various learning activities.
Inside marketplace individuals and sports entities are facing ongoing
